When the 3 film old, young and rising star Parineeti Chopra landed at the Toronto International Film Festival to present her latest film “Shuddh Desi Romance” on Wednesday September 9th, along with Director Maneesh Sharma and Screenwriter Jaideep Sahni, none of them were quite prepared for the kind of warm reception they received from the fans in Canada. It would have been a treat for the delighted crowd to see Parineeti’s co stars – lead actor Sushant Singh Rajput but a family emergency kept him from attending whilst an ongoing film shoot required debutant actress Vaani Kapoor stay back in India too.
